Rape is the deal-breaker for many people, as it should be. Personally, if someone violates another person? That's it - I'm not friends with that person, and I'm comfortable with that.
Don't compare stupid mistakes people make to rape. Ever. It's just so wrong and so infuriating for victims/survivors because it belittles what they've gone through.
I really thought you knew better than that.
