The Pure Blonde ad with the dove that keeps running into the wall. I love birds and that just shits me.

And the Chrysler Jeep "Spring Break" ad, equating young women on Spring Break with cheap cars on sale. Cheap slut puns abound.

This is reminding me about why kadeton gets so angry at watching commercial tv. You two should totally meet up and just rant at the telly.

He won't even watch Nascar (which is pretty silly fun) or motorcycle racing with me. :(

Er, I got a bit distracted there.

I was meant to be sharing my disgust with advertising but started thinking about the motorcycles and the pretty boys riding them (car and bike racing seems to be the only commercial tv I watch these days).

Small HAAAATES the oatmeal commercial where the people fly off to work in jet-packs fueled by oatmeal containers only because when the guy goes to work he doesn't kiss his wife or say that he loves her or anything...he gives her a friendly pat on the shoulder.

I think it's so fucking adorable that he noticed that and it bothered him. At the same time, I kind of feel like a heel because I didn't even see it!

Sadly, most of the doves I've met would be stupid enough to do just that... were I the painter, I'd pick the bird up and pop it up over the top of the building. It'd have a better chance.

The ones I'm hating right now are the Debit Mastercard ads. The logic train's okay but the art style is ANNOYING.
