I spent a lot of money on toys for my cat. You'll never believe the shit they end up getting joy out of.

Like a shred of shiny heavy material that I accidentally dropped on the floor. It happens to look like a lizard, I think, and Rogue is going fucking BERKO over it. I've never seen her so happy to play with something before. And it cost me nothing.

Bloody cats.

I bought Diesel a $2.50 ball thing with a bell inside it, she went nuts over for about 10 seconds, then found a cockroach to play with instead.

Still, there should be odds on who smashes it first, me or Chris, when she rediscovers it at 3am. :P

Cats are great for skidding on surfaces. You know the Warner Brothers cartoons where they have, say, Sylvester running madly after Tweetie and despite the comedic churning of legs, the cat not actually making any forward momentum? Rogue did that the other day, it was SO FUNNY. Her legs where churning madly underneath her and she was sort of slowly turning the corner and then PEOW.

... Oh, she's doing it again now. *laughs* I love this mad bitch.

my kitty's favourite toy is a bent cotton bud - she won't even look at them when they're straight, but once they're bent she'll play with it for hours.

There has been a penny on the floor of my living room for about a week now. I can't pick it up because it's become Gobo's favorite plaything. She stares at it, she attacks it then runs away (repeatedly), she bats it around like a hockey puck.
