Hangovers happen without alcohol.

I'm absolutely rooted today. After many hours sleep, my legs have begun to hurt. My throat is complaining about all the yelling I did last night. My stupid sensitive singer's throat. It's mumbling, "You don't love me, you never use me for anything good anymore. You're still getting over tonsilitis and then you go out and screech out disco songs at the top of your lungs for three hours? What the fuck?!"
I have a headache, and my mood keeps dipping. It happens after I have a fun night out - a crash after the high.
It was really super cute this morning when Shig and Quinn came to pick Meryki up after she stayed the night. Quinn's taken to me, apparently, and my family, and didn't want to leave our place at all. She wanted to stay and play with my Doctor Who stuff and enjoy the general madness that is Chateau Lorenzen. Meryki promised her a visit at another time, and I think my nieces would love to see her again too. Plus all the women in this house like the baby/toddler fix we get with her around. It's been too long between babies!
I watched a biopic about Edith Piaf. What a life, huh? Wow. The actress playing her reminded Mum and me a little of Granny (Mum's Mum). We both agreed that Granny was prettier, though. Less awkward.
I'm going to try to get some sleep after putting the dishes away. :D
