Pride Night!!

It was the Gay Pride Parade last night, and oh my GOD did I have a fucking ball!  Dinner with Kim and friends (sorry we didn't get to talk much, Kim, and I'm sorry I remembered the time wrong - I swear you said 7.30 in the email, maybe I remembered wrong) at Utopia, and then the actual parade (which was awesome for such a tiny city) and then the walk down to the park square where the drums were beaten and fun and dancing was had, then after a bit of confusion, me and Meryki hit Connies (Connections) and stayed there till like, 2am.  We would have stayed later, but Perth is a fucking hick town that shuts everything down at 3am and it's Daylight fucking savings!  That and I was sore and my feet were becoming bloody stumps in the stupid shoes I was wearing.

I MET VANESSA WAGNER!  Oh my God, so nice!  Let me take a photo with her, which was AWESOME.  It's on Meryki's phone, and I shall treasure it always once I have the tiny grainy picture on my harddrive LOL!

Lots of hot girls, most of the ones I thought were cute were straight, and the one hottie that was like OH MY GOD looks like an athletic brown Catherine Zeta Jones, was taken.  Totally cute girlfriend, they were so sweet together.   Just a gorgeous couple. 

Lots of gorgeous drags out on the town last night, and bouncy gay boys, friendly chatty people and retro dance music that I knew the words to, which was AWESOME.  Gay gay gay night out, it was totally gay in every sense of the word and I loved it.  It's been too long since I've done that sort of thing!

I'm exhausted now, though, so after another huge piss (I have been drinking lots of water, but I haven't been drinking alcohol cause I don't drink alcohol anymore) I'm going to crash in bed and snooze.

My mood is WAY better than okay, but I'm using 'okay' because it has Vanessa in it.  EEEEH!

Hey Nancy!

I wish I had been in town for the parade - I'd have liked to join you and Meryki for a night on the tiles with all the gay and TG/TS folks of perth.

I'm glad you had such a good time, but I'm sorry you have to suffer for it the next couple of days. Take care of yourself, and get better quickly.
