NaNoMangO or "Yes, I am FUCKING INSANE!"
Nov. 1st, 2007 09:35 amHey all.
I'm going to do it. Take the challenge. Try to pencil and ink 30 pages in 30 days. Not colouring cause, I mean sweet Lord on a pogo stick, I'm not THAT much of an effing masochist! But I am doing NaNoMangO and I want you guys to help me decide which comic I shall do for the challenge!
[Poll #1080765]
To help you with your decision, a brief synopsis on the first three titles mentioned:
Carrie and the Magnetism: Three regular women, one rich, one poor, one somewhere in the middle, find themselves with super powers that are magnifications of their own natural traits after a run-in with ball lightning. How will they survive in the world with their new abilities, and what do they do when half-mad fashion designer Stacey Jones comes after them with revenge in mind? Superhero Cheese meets fun dramedy.
The Muse: Terri Milligan is an artist with a very unique problem. She can see her Muse. Having the chaotic little companion about her most of her life sent her a bit strange and she often wished to be rid of him, yet the day her wish came true was the worst of her life. Will she ever paint again? Will she regain her Muse? And who is Rannon, the mysterious beautiful, yet awkward man that can also see the source of her inspiration?
BirdMartian: He's a superhero hired by the Martian government to protect his sector from outside foes and to maintain justice and peace. He's also in big trouble as a drunken midnight lark ends up getting the attention of the troglodyte neighbours on the third planet! He must set it right with the help of his best friend Narf and girlfriend Lilita. How will they go on Earth? And can they survive long enough to cover up BirdMartian's indiscretions and get home again?
Another title: That will probably be something else entirely. I'd most likely want to work on The Adventures of Zachary, a woman pirate tale that Tina has started but has sort of stopped for - I don't know why. I told her I'd help her write it if she wanted. Me doing this one is entirely hinging on whether she wants me to work on it or not. It's her baby after all. But I'd like to work on something other than my own three babies. I love them but you get a bit tired of them after working on them for over a decade.
