- Phoned the neurologist I was referred to. They're a private neurologist and I will be charged 260 dollars to visit them. AT THE END OF MAY. WHAT am I supposed to do until May?! I have a fucking LIFE to live, God DAMN it!

- Am dreading the same with the dietician.

- Have to have Centrelink form filled out by doctor. Don't want. I am also being forced to apply for sickness benefits or disability. Fucking. Great.

Really? Crap. Aren't there lots of intelligent immigrants from disadvantaged places just *busting* to come to Australia and take advantage of our education system and become neurologists, damn it?

All I know is that Sonia's neuro appointments get made six months in advance and are as good as impossible to change once set, so far in advance is her doctor booked. (Who's a great neuro btw.)

Shit. Our health system is so fucked up. (It's crazy to think we've got it good). Next time one of our politicians wants to sink millions of dollars into some entertainment centre we really don't need, I'm going to go up to them Chaser-style and kick them in the fucking nuts.

Not all that bad as they will stop buggin u to look for work and you wont have to go to any of their dumb 'we can help you ' courses.

A blessing in disguise as it will let you focus on getting better, and save you needing to hand in medical certs every few weeks.
