My brother and I were HUUUGGGE Karate Kid fans. Back when it first came out on cable, we had a VCR that had a pop top opening and a wired remote (now I'm really showing my age). We had one video tape we recorded that had Revenge of the Ninja, DC Cab and Karate Kid on it. The only problem was that the tape ran out before the end of the movie, so for years we'd watch that movie, and it would end with him warily balancing on one leg to do the final crane kick.
The music would swell, he'd get into position, the camera would cut to a close up of him, then back out to the dramatic two-shot... then....
