The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

When did you first realize that you could actually draw, like, better than the average bear? Then, what made you buckle down and study the mechanics of it, rather than sticking to the occasional doodle?

[LOL, if I didn't ask, who would?]

Cause it makes my tummy go all tingly. It's so manly, so testosterone-y, but he's so sweet and gentle - it's a sort of contrast that makes my inner bitch go 'HUMP ME!'

And just - *sigh* the hair. The hair. I love the chest hair. I just DO. I have a weakness for chest hair. It tickles your nipples when you're shagging. You can run your fingers through it. Cologne clings to it. You can rub your face on it and it's all soft and fuzzy.

That enough? Need I go on? ROFLMAO!

LOL, you can go on if you want, but I think I'm good :D hehe. But I could understand it. I think for some guys it looks good, others not. I could get used to DK's :D hehe, it's definately manly, but we love DK no matter! :D Like you said it contrasts. DK is so sweet and gentle. He's almost got his innocence to him upon looking eh?

FUCK! I'd written a big long answer and then the computer died. GRR!

I'd been told since baby-hood that I was good at drawing. You get that from your family for the first five years of your life, you believe it. Then you go to school and you see kids drawing things all the wrong colour and you know you're good (even if the teachers don't give you what you believe is your rightful praise, though we never know about encouraging those kids a little behind from you at that age, do we?).

Helps that if you're unpopular and shunned, that when you draw pretty pictures, people actually talk to you. I got serious around eight or nine. I decided then that I wanted to be a really good artist, I wanted to be able to draw just like a photograph. I kept drawing but my boost in dedication happened at around 14. I'd hit a road block before then and didn't know how to get better. Then I got some good tips and excellent lessons and I went for it.

Since then, I never looked back! :) I guess if I were to steal a line that answers this question best, it would be from Gregory Hines in History of the World Pt 1: "Born to do it!"

I dunno, it just augments the dark exotic looks. Makes my head swim. I just love them, LOVE them, with the dark looks and the almond brown eyes and the chest hair and the coffee skin and the pre-Raphaelite almost Greek hero features.... *swoon*

Okay, I'm waxing lyrical. Stop me now.

Oh wow. Uhm...

- The first time I tasted a strawberry
- The first time Lenny crawled towards me as a two week old kitten, and I held him and we bonded
- The first time I performed on stage in front of a large group of people and they cheered for my singing
- The first time I got a painting into the art gallery of WA (Hopefully it won't be the last!)
- My very first orgasm (It was like being dipped into water, except it was bliss)
- Meeting the NZ actor Kevin Smith
- Meeting Julian Lennon
- Dancing in my bare feet on a hot night to Garbage playing over the road
- Hugging my mother after she'd been away for months
- Holding my little niece Ruby for the first time
- Being reunited with my niece Emmy after she was away for three months. She was only a baby and I had gotten used to her living in the house with our family. I cried so much when she left.
- Getting the letter saying that I was accepted into music school
- Lying in bed, snuggled next to someone you absolutely adore
- Dancing at a great club with all your friends to really good music and feeling absolutely beautiful
- Lying in a pool, floating and breathing deeply.

I could go on forever. There are so many beautiful moments in life. Hell, walking down the street is beautiful. The trees, the birds singing and walking about, looking at you, coming close. People's pets coming out to say hello, saying hello to your neighbours, the beautiful weather. Every day I cherish every bright little moment, I guess cause I'm a complete and utter sap! :-P

H/Hr:

- It's quite obvious that they put each other first in their lives
- No one *shows* that they care about Harry as much as Hermione
- Harry needs Hermione. Badly.
- They are equals in every way, they are both strong, intelligent, kind, courageous and beautifully flawed.
- I really fucking hate Ginny. (Didn't used to).

Wolverine/Rogue:

- Rogue brings out a gentleness in Logan that Jean couldn't in a pink friggin' fit.
- Rogue is strong enough to take care of herself, and Logan is the only one that could overpower her, but you know he never would. He respects her power.
- They have a similar energy but they're different enough. Logan is control and Rogue is chaos. Logan is fear of who he is, Rogue is cool assurance. They balance each other out beautifully.
- Hugh Jackman and Anna Paquin are fucking hot, and I'd love nothing more than to watch them do wind-milling groin-pogo.

Comicverse? That's different. I like seeing W/R moments in comicverse, but since I know less about it, I feel a bit of an intruder. I just enjoy the comics as much as I can, despite sexist nonsense that still creeps in. (Jean's so COOL cause she tells RUDE JOKES!!!)

Ooh, fun! Um, can I ask 2 questions??

1.] Top 5 favorite HP characters with most fave at the top. I think I could prolly guess, but let's be sure. :p

2.] How many languages do you speak (fluently or not)?

1. Harry
2. Hermione
3. Luna
4. Sirius
5. Remus

2. One. English. I don't speak any other language fluently. Other than 'Idiot', which I often speak to my cats. Here's an example:

"FLEEBIE-MOO-NEENIE?! ALOOWEE!" Yes. I really talk like that to them. I'm probably tapped in the head. :)

Well, Tonks went all wimpy in the last novel so I'm sort of "Eh" about her now. Sadly.

Er, idiot doesn't mean anything specifically. They're just stupid things to say to the cat. Usually the vibe is "Oh you're so cute and flubby and gorgeous, fluffy bubby, let me cuddle you!"
