Cockatoos!

There's a big bunch of black cockatoos in our gum trees makin' a WHOLE lot of noise. They've been here for hours, screeching and eating and throwing nuts around.

It's fucking awesome!

I have to go to the emergency thingo at King Eddies. My guts are killing me bad and I'm feeling really sick. I called HealthDirect and the nurse told me I should go. Blah. I don't want to move but I have to. Having bath.

I leave the following comment on a video about how the human brain misses certain details so that it can function without overloading. So some people don't even notice what a person looks like, so much so that you could swap that person while someone wasn't looking and when the someone looked back and saw a different person, they wouldn't know the difference. They demonstrated in the video in a certain situation - getting a form. Now, when I speak to people, generally I appraise their features. I speak about all this in my comment, anyway.

I think I would notice if a guy bent down and a different guy stood up. I'm forever looking at people's faces (I'm an artist, it's habit) and compulsively mapping them in my head. I'd notice if it were someone different. That said, you could swap numbers or words and I wouldn't notice a thing.
