A little fun experiment.
Dec. 21st, 2007 02:08 pmToday I'm entering a competition at Billy Hyde's (a musical instrument store here in Perth) to win 2000 dollars worth of gear. I get to choose what I want, I get to spend 2000 dollars at their store with it. And they are REALLY cheap, too. So I'd get a lot for my dollar if I won.
Here's the experiment. If you would like to see me win, I'd like you to do something to signal to the Gods, God, Serendipity, Lady Luck, Buddha, the sheer mathematical chances, of that desire. Make a prayer, stroke a luck token, touch some special object that means something to you. Even if it's something stupid like answering this post with some sort of affirmative comment. This is the first competition in ages I've wanted to win, and if I win, I get to do a lot of the stuff I haven't been able to. I thought this might be a fun experiment.
