So, I need to reformat my harddrive. But unfortunately this involves reinstalling all my Sims 2 games. Which I don't mind at all, except that my perfectly legal copy of The Sims 2 has a great dirty scratch on the second disk. Doesn't work, see. And so now I am downloading the bloody game and using my serial number on the box on that downloaded copy.

Unfortunately it was my nephew that had the copy of Nightlife, University and Open for Business. By far the most useful expansion packs thus far (though Bon Voyage looks pretty fucking sweet). Pets and Seasons were okay, but not what I'd call vital. Except, okay, I give it props for introducing roller-skating into the lives of the Sims. MY XANADU THEMED NIGHTCLUB IS NOW A REALITY, BEEYATCHES! Where was I? Oh yeah! Nephie's puter is in Borky-town, Borkland so those handy disk images are not at my disposal. It could be days till I get to freakin' reformat this hulking piece of shit.
