Idol news. Apparently, out of 1300 people, only 120 got the blue card that I got to go to the producers. Of them, only 60 made it through to see the celeb judges. I can tell that a *lot* of them were for entertainment value (for Dicko to mock). I feel quite good that I got that blue card after all. I didn't do so bad :)

Wow! So you were in the top 9% or something. You should feel really good about that :) *hugs* I think the IDOL producers like people who can really belt a tune, I mean folks with major LUNGS (and I don't just mean of the mammary kind :)) Anyway... you gave it your best shot, and all in all you did really well. I'm proud of you and you should be too :D

Thing is, it's a huge misnomer that louder = better. It's just not true at all. Most of the best singers in the history of music weren't loud at all. Oh well. I still got my talent and my songs - I got my future ahead of me yet.

See, I don't know if I'm made for those TV shows. I keep trying, they keep knocking me back. I'm not going for Popstars anymore, I'm just too old and I heard some real horror stories about the top levels from people who had made it there. But I'm going for song competitions and stuff like that, cause I know I'm good at writing songs.
