oOoooH! Total eclipse!
May. 5th, 2004 03:19 amOf the moon! So cool! I'm just watching it now, it's about halfway done. I wish I could have been stuffed to do a wicca rite, cause man, it would have been quite a powerful one. Aah well. And I'm perioding - what female energy!! Oh well, I'll just bask in the vibe. Feel it?
Oeeeeeeestrooooooogeeeeeeen! *wafts oestrogen*
Oh yeah. I am woman. Hear me howl at the moon like a broom-fucking tree-loving* hippy.
ETA: OHhhhh it's all red! And the fuckin' sky man! It's so dark! The stars are gleaming!! There are *clouds* of stars! Utterly beautiful CLOUDS! *awe-struck*
ETA 2: It's about 4:45 in the morning, and the eclipse is still fully on, but I can't bring myself to go to bed with that going on, even though it's the same thing in reverse. The night is so incredibly still, and I haven't seen the stars so pretty in years. Beautiful breeze too, but I don't feel like sitting outside on my lonesome (it's a big scary block out there, and I a-feared). I keep peeking at the moon through the window. Maybe I sleep on the couch with the curtains open for a while. Siblings have gone to bed, so no company there. A well. I want to watch till the sun peeks on the other side of the moon's disk.
ETA 3: 5:24am. The sun has peeked through on the other side, shining on the moon brightly. The moon looks like a giant seed pod. Or that weird probe from Star Trek 4. (I was trying to make the electronic whale sounds earlier but I just sounded like a cow with half a lounge suite lodged up its arse).
* That should be tree-HUGGING. God. I am tired.
