I'm listening to Whitney Houston sing "I Will Always Love You" on here. I like to study other singers every once in a while, to hear what makes a song work vocally. She's incredibly clever with this song, and I mean, she really made it something else. Amazing. The amazing thing is how different her and I are when we approach this song. I mean, I go into it with her spirit, and with her in mind, but her voice is so strident, and mine is so pleading in comparison, far more whimsical and sort of - I don't know...whimpy I guess LOL! Anyway - if you'd like, I'll record myself singing it tomorrow, as I have the karaoke track of this and it might be some fun.

Just wondering - would folks dig that? Consider it a sort Christmas present - some new tracks of me singing :) I'm thinking of recording one of my originals tomorrow. Tell me what you think!
