Whip It, however, was a fucking wonderful movie. If I had more health, and could actually stay upright on skates, I'd love to be involved in a sport like Roller Derby. But really - I am too klutzy and shit. Plus I need my hands in one piece to be a brilliant artist and all. :-P

But seriously, Whip It - fucking awesome fun. And I loved Ellen Page, and Drew Barrymore did a great job on that movie.

Also, Zoe - oh honey. I liked you the moment I met you in Pasadena in 2000. I continue to love the ever-loving SHIT out of your gorgeous whacky ass.

HAha! Sorry, gorgeous. I was referring to Zoe somethingerather (I can never remember her last name). She used to be the stunt double for Lucy Lawless in Xena, and now she's the go-to gal for hilarious female characters in alternative movies, anything by Quentin Tarantino and most movies requiring some serious stunt work. I had a big long conversation with her about martial arts and she was really sweet and friendly and I thought, "Wow, I like her!"

I do really really want to see Whip It at some point. Roller derby sounds kind of scary, though. And I used to take kung fu lessons. It just seems to have a lot of potential for crushed fingers/hands if one falls over.
