I'm looking through the photos I took of myself today. I don't know if I'll put them up or not - possibly not. I don't want people making fun of how I look. I'm terrified. I also feel I'm not pretty enough to make art out of.

I'm not being, you know, false and fishing for compliments or any shit like that. I honestly feel this way about myself and I feel like crying cause I feel like there's NOTHING I can do about it. I used to be so fucking skinny. I miss those days. I hate how I look now. I think I look terrible.

I'm very self conscious of the way I look too (I've got my own issues, believe me :-P), so that's why it took me well over a year just to put up a few pics of myself up on LJ which are f-locked. I know very well how you feel when you don't think you look "right."

Well, being skinny is not being pretty, quite the opposite, think some supermodels who seem ill and undernourished. And attractive woman should look healthy, and have natural curves in oposition to Holliwood plastic artificial curves. Think of the Venus of Milo.
She isn't exactly skinny and still her body is beautiful and considered art, isnt it?
Check other stock galleries and you'll see many of the models are not exactly skinny.

My grandmother allways says "sin grasita no hay curvitas" which means that if you are too skinny you lose your curves.
It is important for you to feel comfortable with yourself.
Regarding posting or not the photos, it is your choice, but it's more important independently that you should not be so hard with yourself.

But I do get what you're saying. I have a friend, Ellie, who is doing stock work. She's not skinny but she has a *gorgeous* figure. It's just beautiful. She's got the right kind of curves.
