Health Woes: Cold
Dear Left Ear Canal and Associated Eustacian tube,
Look, I know I got us into trouble by hugging and smooching people at Swancon. I touched doorknobs and shared food and stayed in small rooms for hours with my fellow human beings. I may as well have licked a sick person's face, I was wallowing in that much germ transference.
So getting the dreaded Swancon Bug was sort of inevitable. My bad.
But do you have to go to the lengths of suffering from pain and tinnitus? How the fuck am I going to sleep? Way unfair! I'm never going to get the rest I need to fight off this accursed bug.
Clearly you must despise me quite thoroughly. You've gotten louder in the past five minutes. You're fucking with me, aren't you? Just don't stop working, I really do need you.
