Fun times with FEVER!

Ohhhh, my buddies! My PALS! Guess what I nearly did last night?

I nearly fainted and clocked my head on the hard, cold bathroom floor! That's right! I decided that, after being two days without washing because I was too sick to get much further than the toilet without needing to lie down again, that was it - I'd take some codeine and have a nice bath, then rinse myself off.

Medicines I'd had that evening:

- Some horrible shit old-fashioned Ammonia and Sene... Sene... somethingerather to clear up my chest.
- Panadol
- My daily dose of antidepressants
- Very very late, nurofen Plus (ibuprofin and codeine).

I had my bath - no problems. Quite lovely, really. It was when I decided to get out that the troubles started. Dizzy spells! Can't see for the patterns before my eyes! Can't... stand... SHIT!

I lay down on the cold tile floor, (oh that's nice), and shouted for help. Everyone was in the bedrooms. Thankfully, I collapsed in the laundry, in which there's a huge stinking hole in the wall where Dad's building a staircase and the sound goes right through. Scotty heard me, Scotty got Mum. I staggered with the help of Scotty to the couch in the lounge room, where I slept for the evening. Watched a movie, and tried to get some sleep.

Woke up today - still getting temperatures. God this shit is great fun.

Yeah, fever soaked brains tend not to make the best decisions. At least the drugs didn't knock you out while in the tub.

Well, no. Heath Ledger went from doctor to doctor to doctor, getting prescriptions and the other doctor's didn't know what he was given by the others. He really did stupid shit, like, he took stuff that should NEVER have been taken together.

I *have* to take my antidepressants every day or I get depressed. Today I feel a lot better and I think it was just that I was pushing myself a bit soon, that's all. There's nothing in the cough medicine or the nurofen that could have the effect that it did on me. I could be wrong, though.
