How fucking HOT IS IT?!

Apparently today it was 44.2 degrees celcius. I stayed inside all day. Stayed inside all yesterday too, but that was okay. Scotty got the DVD of Short Circuit, and OH MY GOD it was way more adult than I remember it being. Allie Sheedy is swearing her preverbial box off and Scroter is shouting about his three little Scroters that he wants to grow up some day and - wow. So many :O moments. I really love that movie, as silly as it is. That robot is fucking amazing.

Mum made her special Christmas punch today (she forgot to yesterday) and it was fantastic!! The perfect thing on a hot day!

I feel kinda bad. My brother Scotty was deliberately playing my bongo drums as LOUD AS HE COULD while I was in the middle of watching new Doctor Who, so in a fit of TV rage (the rage you get when people interrupt your favourite show) and premenstrual tension, I threw an apple at him as hard as I possibly good. This was after I asked him to shut up repeatedly. He threw an orange at me and was really mad (understandible) and I ducked. I can be pretty spry for a sick chick.

This is crazy. You go into the shower and then ten minutes later you're coated in sweat again. *melts*

O_O 44.2 degrees Celsius? 44.2 degrees of Anders fucking Celsius? Shit, that's hot!! (Ironically, yesterday I joked with my dad about his outside thermometer showing 4.5, and said either that or it's 45 degrees outside, a thought too ludicrous to comprehend.)

Not a ludicrous thought here, unfortunately. THANKFULLY it's only 33 today. Very nice!

I'm surprised in some ways all the movies I saw as a kid you'd considerate very inappropriate for a kid to watch. Fact of the matter is either 1. The adult content goes over your head or 2. It isn't a big deal as no one makes it a big deal (aka it's not taboo). Sadly I have the other extreme in my family where my cousin is basically being raised in a box ... they don't want her to be exposed to anything that might "ruin" her. Are we back in the Victorian Era??

No no no... I don't think it's too adult at all. TODAY people would consider it too adult. There's swearing and the Indian character saying "I'm sporting a tremendous woody right now!" Which adults these days would flip over.

Me? I'd let my kids watch Police Academy, for fuck's sakes. LOL!

LOL cool ... I mean we didn't turn out warped and twisted for life ... or did we? ;)

I used to watch Rocky Horror. *I* didn't turn out twisted at all!

Although, punch does sound yummy.

It's got ginger ale, pineapple juice and orange juice all mixed up. SO nice!
