Did you know some people really don't like Charlie/Amita? I dunno why. I accidentally fell into a huge Amita debate over at numb3rs.org forums. I didn't MEAN to but it just sort of happened. The thread said "Charlie and Amita", so I went there to post this. Obviously I was mistaken about the reason for the thread! Anyway. It was all very fierce and it saddened me a little.

I almost got in a forum fight here, when it was talking about the episode, I supported how I thought their kiss was well-timed and it was basically Amita just distraught and Charlie inadvertantly helps here so much.

People seemed to think it was forced and didn't come across well.

I just think they are both the epitome of shy, adorable, nerd!love.

Also, something I've seen is some people are so for slash, they turn against het, it kind of bothers me, fandom is for fun, not fights.

umm, me? I don't like C/A...not for the chemistry between the characters, because they do.

The thing that gets me is that Charlie is/was Amita's supervisor. I'm an academic by both training and inclination, and it's kinda engrained in the bone now that you don't fuck around with students. My little squick has eased a bit, but I'm still not comfortable with the idea of C/A.

Which is a bummer, because they are very pretty, and I adore both actors and characters...

Is cooh, fooh. I draw lots of characters like this. It's my sort of 'playful not-so-tricky to do' style. Spots for eyes and crudely characatured people. But it's fun cause it's not hard to do.

I'm very happy with how Charlie turned out. Awww. HE SO CUTE! I might have to icon that.
