This one is non-shippy, it's just about the percieved quality of JKR's writing, the reaction of some people (mainly H/Hrs) to the book and how it's possible that not just H/Hrs will be bitching about the following book if certain trends in the 6th book and JKR's exposition in interviews is any indication...

Posted months ago but I only saw it now. What surprised me is it actually got fandom_wanked, but it's a perfectly lucid and logical warning.

I foolishly thought the loose ends would be tied. And how anyone could think Hermione was into Ron in that one is silly. She didn't even flush when she kissed Ron.

It's amusing. THE H/G book, we have sexual tension between Hermione and Harry and more subtext between Harry and Ron. Harry/Ginny might even be cut from the movies.

What about the subtext with Harry->Draco? The book nearly converted me, I was like, "Geez Harry, will you just fuck him, have your homosexual experiment and get over it?!"

Well it did nothing to move the plot - although it MIGHT in the last book - and they've cut more important subpltos like the MWPP in POA.

I wonder what kind of wank we'll get if they do?

Oh yeah. We can wank with the best of them. But I think it's cause we're very passionate about the ideas that are behind Harry/Hermione, so we tend to go a bit loco. *shrugs* Oh well. Can be amusing. :)

I never thought we should sign a petition for JKR to re-write HBP, however, I remember thinking it'd be nice to take out an add to prove we WEREN'T in the minorty. I think that's silly now, but after the interview of DOOM, when I was called a deluisonal Ron-hater, I think I had ever right to be angry.

No, that petition shit is just silly. Leave petitions for things that matter, like saving orphaned babies and rainforests and shit.

But yeah, I was angry at the way they portrayed us to JKR. I'd love to tell her that I don't hate Ron, that I am perfectly fine with H/G if she'd only written it in a different way, and that I wasn't a fucking lunatic.

I happen to love Ron. And Hermione. Just not together. And I'd like Ginny to be more then a plot device, too. Cedric got more development. Which goes to show Cedric/Harry - theirlovewassodoomed.
