I'm curious about the killing methods used on them; I think people have been very quick to cry "yay, native meat source, much better than european livestock!" and on that level, of course they are right. Kangaroos are much more suited to - and less likely to destroy - Australian land than cows or sheep. But I don't feel I know enough about the way they are 'harvested' to say "yup, awesome, let's go for it."

That said, I have eaten it, and kangaroo is very tasty. Especially barbecued.
