Torchwood series 1 finale ranting

I AM SUCH A FUCKING DUNCE! GOD! I'm too stupid to LIVE! How could I be that THICK?!

HOW could I fucking miss it for this long?

THE HAND, people, THE HAND! I didn't get the hand! I should have gotten it RIGHT AWAY! It's The Doctor's fucking hand! CHRIST! WHY did I not get that?! Sweet Jesus, here I am, Agatha Christie nut, pride myself on noticing details and I didn't notice THAT big whopper?!

And I tells ya - Gwen and Jack's friendship *makes* that show for me. I don't know what they have, it's not romance, it's not sex, it's something deep and awesome and I love it, whatever it is. :)

... That's thinking about a hand too much. But I'll grant you - it IS the Tenth Doctor's hand. I'd probably obsess that much over one of his hairs in the right situation.

Aaah, Jack's so in love with the Doctor. He's going to get the SHOCK of his life when he sees the upgrade! :D

Bear in mind, being in Torchwood (and working with someone who was in TW London when the Doctor was there and everything went to hell) means that Jack may well have inside information about Ten already. He may have even seen security cam footage or whatever and know what he looks like now. (And there's a lovely topic for a potential fanfic, assuming someone hasn't already written it: Jack's reaction to learning that the Doctor showed up at a TW location Jack wasn't at. Did he kick himself for figuring the Doctor had to show up at the Cardiff rift again soon, or was it just a lot harder for Jack to get into the big-budget London branch than it was to basically start the shoestring Cardiff operation from scratch?)
