Assume there was a drug that had the following positive effects:
  • Increases lifespan by seven years.
  • Decreases violence by 80%.
  • Decreases warmongering tendencies, making subject more suitable for positions of authority.
  • Decreases rape by 90%.
  • Increases altruism.
  • Eliminates personality traits that cause sexual objectification.
  • Eliminates personality traits that cause others feel ashamed of their bodies.
  • Improves performance in jobs requiring dexterity.
  • Improves performance in dangerous jobs by making subject more careful.
The drug has the following side-effects.
  • Makes subject less effective at some menial tasks that require brute strength.
  • Some misc health problems, most of which are easily treatable. Despite these problems the subject will still live seven years longer.
Say that you are some dirty hippie that hates drug companies and wants to believe that this drug doesn't really make people "better". How would you do this?
