Just. No. Nein. Never. Forget it. You'd have to be able to sing jazz first, and I'm still unconvinced of you being able to sing at ALL. Sure, you can dance, but fuck, Cabaret is set in a 1930's skanky-ho dive. If singing wasn't high on the list of priorities of the performers there, dancing musn't have been either.

Point being. You, Lindsay, are indeed skanky enough to play a girl down on her luck. But you don't have the verve, the spunk nor the charisma to be either Sally or ANY of the Kit-Kat girls. Even if it's just pretend for a stupid Premiere photo shoot.

I'm going against popular opinion again. I like Linsday Lohan. Oh, don't get me wrong, she can't sing worth beans, her music videos are atrocious and that blond-bone-thin phase was scary as hell (thank god she's bouncing back from that), but, in all honestly, I think she's a darned good actress. Nothing great, mind you, but generally solid in her performances. Freaky Friday, Mean Girls... She can act.

And when she is redheaded and curvy (a look I hope she returns to)? Rrrrowl. Very Ann-Margret.
