I often wonder exactly how good a writer I am, too and I'm very hyper-critical of my work. Do I get the characters at least *sounding* somewhat like they should? Are my wording choices, etc., okay or are they just *wrong* on so many levels that I should just stop writing anything, period? So yeah, I definitely feel your pain. *sigh*
