I love nature, I really do. It's going to be a very hot one today though. 40 degrees, and nobody is allowed to use their air conditioners, or there will be state-wide power failure. If we do use them, we get fined a grand, man, one THOUSAND dollars! So, we'll be sweltering today.

The trek novel I mentioned is a very good one. I really enjoyed it. Another good one I read was called Planet of Judgement. That was rather interesting. Another one I liked was The Starless World. Next Gen has a couple of good books too - Q-Squared is BRILLIANT, (If only for the heart-breaking Jack/Beverly, Jean-Luc/Beverly subplot, but no - it's also got a beautiful equally heart-breaking AU Riker/Troi), and Dark Mirror - oh that was GREAT. I really enjoyed that. Because of that book, whenever my friend Sam used to say 'puce' at me, I'd crack up into hysterics. (There was a line where someone was strangling Wesley, and he turned 'an interesting shade of puce').

If you ever want any recs, just ask. You shall recieve.

And by the by, I am eternally grateful you regained the use of your arms and hands. You draw beautifully, and it would be a tragedy if your talent was lost to the world. :)
